I'm by no means a shotgun person, especially for the trap/skeet models but when a deal is simply a once in a lifetime opportunity you go for it. Found a very small number of Ruger's rarest shotgun and grabbed one. I now have a Ruger Trap Model shotgun. :-D Oh, and padding that smile is that it's serial number #73. 8-) :-D
Now to make a suitable spot on the shelf to tuck it away.

BlkHawk73,

If it is an unfired collector of course. If ya bought it for profit, get that.

If not a VIRGIN GUN...
Run a few shot shells through it before ya tuck it on a shelf!.

I hate to see a GREAT GUN not fired

It's not getting fired so long as I own it. Bought it strictly as a collectable investment. From the best that's known, only about 650 were made and the vast majority never shipped. Being #73, it was a subscription gun originally allocated for a big-wig at Marlin.
No issue buying, tucking away and not shooting it. It simply joins a few others that received the same treatment. When Possible - not this time - simply buy two. ;)
